MultiNet-R enables customers to deliver maps to the market faster and easier

TomTomAmsterdam, 12 November 2014 – TomTom (TOM2) today announces the availability of MultiNet-R, a new and innovative map format for business customers.  MultiNet-R offers TomTom customers accurate and up-to-date maps that can be quickly integrated into their products.

MultiNet-R delivers rich content and coverage in a database model that features stable IDs and seamed content layers for easy compilation.  Additionally, MultiNet-R can power incremental map updates*, enabling maps to be kept up-to-date without the need to install a full map update.  The global, full-feature MultiNet-R will be released monthly in 2015 and weekly in 2016.
