New Degree Courses on GIS & RS at University of Agriculture Faisalabad

In recent news by The Nation, University of Agriculture Faisalabad will soon start new degree courses on Geographical Information System (GIS) and RS.

Dr Iqrar Ahmad , Vice Chancellor said this while addressing the concluding session of a two-week training programme on “Remote Sensing for Monitoring Agricultural Crops & Assessing Soil Salinity” organized by Institute of Soil & Environmental Sciences at new Senate Hall.

Dr Waqar Ahmad, a research scientist from Western Australia Principal stressed on the scope and need of remote sensing and GIS technology in Pakistan onfronted by to the agriculture sector..
