New plugins from PDF3D allow Microsoft Office users to enhance documents by adding interactive 3D images at the click of a button.
London, UK, September 9th, 2016 – PDF3D, the leaders behind interactive 3D PDF conversion software ReportGen, have today announced a new suite of plugins for Microsoft OFFICE users that enables the creation of powerful, interactive 3D documents from standard WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint files. Not only do the plugins allow the insertion of interactive 3D images into a slide, spreadsheet, report or brochure – they also aid in the redesign of the document using quick and easy layout controls.
“Normally Microsoft WORD® documents and PDF documents don’t mix and require different tools, which really slows down workflow and productivity. Once the placeholder for the image has been added, the user simply clicks a button to covert their OFFICE document into a 3D PDF. The final document looks exactly like the original created in OFFICE but now has a fully interactive 3D element that can be rotated, viewed, zoomed or even animated and played.
Whilst the plugins themselves aren’t able to create the original 3D image (users will need a conversion tool such as ReportGen to do this), they do provide rich enhancements for documents created in OFFICE.
