13th South East Asian Survey Congress – Expanding the Geospatial Future
28-31 July 2015
Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
The South East Asian Survey Congress is for Surveyors in all fields to gain knowledge, and new frontier in the applications of advanced technology in Survey. The Congress is also an excellent place and opportunity to network and exchange ideas.
The congress theme provides a platform for government, industry and academia to discuss opportunities and challenges of geospatial data creation, maintenance and management.
The Congress also provides an unparalleled opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their products and services to meet the expanding needs and demands for surveying and spatial services in South East Asia.
Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) is the main organiser, under the Asean Flagship, and supported by many local government agencies, stakeholders and suppliers. We are very honoured to have this opportunity to host the event in Singapore and we look forward to welcoming you in July 2015.
As the demand and interest in geospatial solutions grow, delegates can learn, share, review and explore the congress topics on technologies, applications, best practices, processes and visualisation.
From satellite navigation, laser scanning, imaging, 3D GIS, 3D cadastre, BIM through to mobile mapping and monitoring systems. Over 70 papers will be delivered during simultaneous multi-track sessions, providing something for everyone’s interest, whether from a government or private industry perspective.
Even with the maturing of technologies such as GIS and information sharing hardware (mapping + data), we see the merging of different technologies, such as vision recording with measuring abilities, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and indoor navigation, tunnelling guidance, subsea guidance and visualisation and geotechnical applications.
